LED Lighting Solutions for Energy Service Companies (ESCO)

Energy service companies are the pioneers of creating, developing and delivering sustainable energy to the people. This of course also means, that the energy service companies should be the pioneers within sustainable lighting. But lighting up energy service companies takes some effort, and has to be both incredibly bright and functional, while still energy efficient.

LED Lighting Solutions for Energy Service Companies

Most energy service companies have both administrative offices and large halls and production facilities, which all require completely different lighting. Being the pioneers in sustainable energy, even the offices should have lighting of the latest LED technology. Suitable solutions for ESCO offices could be downlight spots, pendant lamps, tubes or panel lamps. Downlight spots are the perfect substitute for halogen spots, and have numerous benefits like high energy efficiency, longevity and high quality of light. Pendant lamps are suspended from the ceiling and has the same LED benefits like the downlight spots, but comes with the possibility of having a more decorative fixture in itself, which will adorn any office. The always popular LED tubes, are popular for one very distinct reason. With LED tubes there are no need to buy expensive fixtures, to obtain the LED benefits. Many LED tubes are developed as a retrofit product, meaning they will fit directly into the fixture of traditional fluorescent tubes. Panel lamps are really on the rise to offices, as they give any office a minimalistic and stylish finish. The bright lighting panel appears to be a part of the actual ceiling.

When lighting up large halls and facilities, it requires lighting that is a bit more extreme than the usual living room lighting. Especially in terms of power and brightness, the LED products to large halls have to fulfil some strict requirements - especially in production facilities, where different sorts of complex and heavy machinery is in use on a daily basis. Powerful pendant lamps can substitute both metal halide lamps and high-pressure sodium lamps. LEDs can today match these typical industrial lighting products in terms of brightness and area of illumination, while being a lot more energy efficient and longer living.

LED Lighting - The Future of Energy Efficient Lighting

The LED technology has advanced significantly over the past years, resulting in drastically improved lighting quality when compared to older technologies like the incandescent bulbs or the fluorescent tubes. While the lighting quality is improved, the LED technology is using considerably less energy.  And lets stay with the low energy use for a while. LED bulbs can, compared to the traditional light sources, result in an 80 % reduction in energy use. This drastic reduction does not only look good on your next energy bill, but does indeed look good in terms of less pollution and making the earth greener – bulb by bulb. The drastic energy reduction does also make the payback of the LED product quick while decreasing the long-term energy cost, which makes the LED technology desirable for large industries. With more and more large industries getting in on the LED development, the carbon savings will really add up.  The increase of demands on LED technology w...
